When life feels uncertain, it’s easy to forget that the Author already knows how the story ends. What seems unfinished or cut short to you might be already complete in God’s book, or he may still be reworking it into something greater.
God sees the full plot, the past, the present, and the future. Isaiah 46:10 reminds us that God knows the end from the beginning and that his purpose will always stand. He is never surprised by a twist in your story because he is the creator of it.
Think of the woman caught in adultery. Her story seemed over, marked by shame and judgment, until Jesus rewrote it with mercy and gave her a new beginning. Or consider Jairus’ daughter, whose story appeared to end in death until Jesus spoke life and she rose again. What others called the end, God called another chapter.
You can rest knowing that your story is safe in his hands. The same God who began the work in you will also finish it beautifully. Hallelujah!!
Reflection
What would it look like to trust that God already knows the ending of your story?
Declaration
I rest in the assurance that God knows the ending of my story and it’s beautiful!
